Advising Mission

The advising mission at Palo Alto College is to provide a comprehensive academic planning program for students. The mission as defined is to provide leadership and counsel in areas of undergraduate programs for students, the faculty who teach and advise in those programs, and for colleg administrators. Advising facilitates programs and services which support undergraduate curricula, educational planning, and experiential learning.

Who Provides Advising

The Welcome Enrollment Center advisors, Palo Alto College counselors and faculty advisors share the responsibility of advising students. Students are advised according to their current enrollment status. To determine who your advisor is, please use the Advising Step below that applies to your student status.
