• Completed packet with the following items:
• Completed application
• Proof of 80 hrs of clinical experience under the supervision of a DVM
• Three letters of recommendation (one from a DVM, the other two from other sources other than family members)
• Transcripts showing completion of four prerequisite classes with a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Applicants are listed by grade point average (GPA) on the four prerequisites from highest (i.e. 4.0) to lowest (2.0). A minimum of a (2.0) GPA is required on the four prerequisites.
• When two or more applicants have the same GPA, the total number of general education courses completed is used for ranking purposes. See chart below for example.
• When two students have the same GPA and the same number of general education courses, the GPA of the general education courses is used for ranking purposes. See chart below for example.

***If three spaces were available for admission, applicants #1 through #3 would be accepted.

• Should the number of qualified students not exceed the number of available slots, students may be accepted on a provisional basis. Provisional admittance can be granted if the student has the following:
• Completion of at least 2 out of the 4 prerequisite classes
• Three letters of recommendation
• 80 hrs of clinical experience under the supervision of a DVM

Once the applications are ranked from the pool of applicants, the top applicants will receive a letter of acceptance. The accepted applicants must then acknowledge in writing their intention to enroll. If admitted students decline, alternative pool students will be contacted to inform them they have been moved to an admitted status. Students transferring from an accredited veterinary technology program will be granted admission if places are available for the requested semester.  These students are required to have all course prerequisites and other admission requirements completed prior to entrance into the program.
