Mariana Ornelas' Trip to Ireland, Summer 2002

Here are some pics of the Collegiate Church of Nicholas of Myra, a Protestant church which dates back to the 14th century It is one of the the city's most important monuments. Originally a catholic church, it was taken over by Oliver Cromwell when he invaded Ireland. The church was rebuilt and renovated, but it still retains much of its original structure. It is the largest medieval parish church in use in Ireland.
