 Marta Tijerina has been an interpreter and language specialist for the Federal Court in immigration matters since 1989. She is also a highly respected media professional. For nearly 20 years she hosted a very popular daily talk show, En San Antonio, on KWEX Channel 41, one of two local Spanish language television stations. Since 1995 she has hosted a talk show on Catholic TV on a volunteer basis. She says she enjoys this more because the show appears on a nonprofit television station and thus is not subject to ratings.
