LRC Response

A. What reports do you compile on a regular basis?

  1. Reference transactions, recorded extemporaneously by reference librarians, compiled by the head of reference at the end of each semester. Results are listed in the LRC FACT BOOK.

  2. Study room use, recorded as reservations at the first floor reference desk, compiled at the end of each semester. Results are listed in the LRC FACT BOOK. These figures do not include unscheduled use of the rooms.

  3. The collection of resources is kept constantly by our technical staff. Once a year, however, the evaluation process requires that we update the LRC FACT BOOK.

  4. Interlibrary loan statistics are kept daily in that department, reported monthly and reflected in the LRC FACT BOOK.

  5. Circulation of materials statistics are kept mechanically by the circulation software. These numbers are reported in the the LRC FACT BOOK.

  6. Hours open are kept on a weekly basis and reported in the LRC FACT BOOK.

  7. A count of the people passing through the door is kept by the turnstile at the exit door and reported on an annual basis in the LRC FACT BOOK.

  8. Audio Visual equipment deliveries, usage, and repairs is kept by the department's people as they occur. They are reported on an annual basis in the LRC FACT BOOK.

B. Instruments used to collect data on an irregular basis

Instrument used? From whom do you collect it? What type of information is collected? How do you collect it? How often do you collect it? How is this information stored?
