The Liaison Program

The liaison program was created to establish an interactive link between the library's programs and the teaching departments of the college. A major component of the liaison program involves the selection of materials for the library collection. Librarians who oversee particular sections of the library collection also work with the appropriate teaching departments in the selection of materials, the evaluation of the collection, the development of instructional materials and programs. Some librarians also teach in the departments with which they work. (See the LIST OF LIAISONS for what librarians work with what departments).
