What does it take to create a website?... It takes a link to the Internet, usually through an ISP (Internet Service Provider). It also takes a little knowledge of HTML.. That's all!!

No one edits or monitors material put on the Internet. This is a huge contrast to the print world where to become published requires that a publisher accept you. Then the publisher edits your work. Then the legal department verifies your facts and scans your material for potential problems. A library has an additional filter. Librarians only purchase books which have been well reviewed or are recommended by faculty.

The fact that there is no filtering process on the Internet means that you really need to evaluate any website you visit.
