Mariana Ornelas' Trip to Spain, Summer 2005
"POPULART is a club that specializes in jazz. I have been here several times already and plan on returning. Madrid features some very fine jazz venues, and I believe this is one of the best. This place is located on Huertas, a swinging pedestrian street near Puerta del Sol. The performances here and elsewhere donīt begin until around 10:30 or 11:00 pm. At that time they begin to fill up. I shot these photos on a Wed. evening and by the time the show started, there was standing room only."
