Knossos
Mariana Ornelas' Trip to Greece, Summer 2001
Knossos. This is one of the most
significant archeological sites of the Minoan Culture. Knossos is
located on Crete just 2 1/2 miles from Heraklion. The beginning of this
brilliant culture dates back to 6000 BC and extends to around 1500 BC.
