The Learning Resources Center is an instructional component of Palo Alto College. It is composed of a progressive teaching library, technology facilities and services, and a self-contained Children's Library. The LRC selects, acquires and maintains library resources in print, electronic, and media formats. The LRC provides point of need, introductory, academic and certificate instruction for individuals and groups.
The Learning Resources Center supports the mission statements of the Alamo Community College District and of Palo Alto College. The library collection directly supports the college's curriculum.
The administration, faculty and staff of the LRC exhibit their professionalism and demonstrate a genuine commitment to the fostering of independent and lifelong learning through their quality programs, resources and services.
