Learning in Communities (LinC)
LinC is a new Program being offered at SAC. We are grouping together two or more of your classes into a Learning Community. This allows you to take at least two of your required courses with the same group of students.
Teaching Academy Learning Communities (TALC)
TALC is part of an Academy For Teacher Excellence five-year, Title V grant awarded as a collaborative grant to University of Texas at San Antonio and San Antonio College. The purpose of the grant is to support the academic preparation of students who are pursuing an education degree and teacher certification.
Education Majors are supported at San Antonio College through a number of services. Some of which are Learning Communities, Academic Advising, Peer Mentor Program, and Scholarship Information.
Learning Communities is a model in which a group of students enrolls in two or more discrete courses that have been linked together by common themes, historical periods, issues, or problems.
