GRADES IN THE IB COURSES

* A minimum grade of 4 for each IB course is required for advanced placement credit at SAC. Student will receive a letter grade for each of their IB grades:

IB (SAC) Grade

 

 

 

7 = excellent (A)
6 = Very good (B)
5 = Good (B)
4 = satisfactory (C)


LENGTH OF IB COURSES

  SL = (Standard Level) 150 hours of of instruction
  HL = (High Level) 240 hours of instruction


LANGUAGE INFORMATION (IB CATEGORIES)

  A1 = First language
  A2 = Fluent or Bilingual Skills
  B = 2 - 4 years of previous experience studying the language
  Ab initio = Beginners
  Classical = Latin; Greek
           

SAC's CORE CURRICULUM 2006/2007
