The following are step-by-step instructions to assist while completing your web admissions application.  Please print or keep this window open as a reference.

A link to the Apply Texas Application is provided at the end of the instructions.

You will need an email address (you can acquire it for free at yahoo, msn, aol ... web sites)

The items marked with * on the screen are required to complete your application. 

If you do not answer a question correctly an error message will appear on top to tell you what the problem is after you have submitted the page.

1. CREATE A PROFILE

Go to "MAIN MENU". Click on "create one now" if you do not have an ApplyTexas account. If you have an account please skip to number 2.

After saving your profile you will be taken to a confirmation page stating " You have successfully saved Your myApplyTexas profile." Write down your Username - YOU WILL NEED IT! Your Username will be in bold red letters.

20. An institution of high education shall assess the academic skills of each entering undergraduate student to determine the student's readiness to enroll in Freshman-level academic coursework. Some students may be exempt from meeting the requirements of TSI; however, colleges may have additional placement testing requirements. Students must provide official scores to the college (scores on high school or college transcripts are considered official.) Please read the following information and check all appropriate boxes that apply to you:

Exemptions/waivers:

1. I am eligible for exemption from additional assessment because of qualifying ACT, SAT, or TAKS scores. SAT and ACT scores may not be more than 5 years old from the date of testing. TAKS scores may not be more than 3 years old from the date of testing. Please check which test you are claiming for the exemption.
