Scholarships

Army ROTC scholarships pay tuition and required fees, and can be worth as much as $70,000 or more. They're awarded on merit -- like academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and personal interviews. Scholarship winners receive a stipend ($300 for freshman students, $350 for sophomore students, $450 for junior students, $500 for senior students ) for each academic month plus an allowance for books and other educational items. If you're a non-scholarship student, you can still receive the stipend as a contracted cadet during your last two years. If you're selected to receive a scholarship, you will have a commitment to the Army after completing the program. You can fulfill it by either serving part time in the Army National Guard or Army Reserve, or full time on active duty.
