Mission
Statement
The
Department of American Sign Language / Interpreter
Training in cooperation with Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Services, engages in the promotion of awareness
and understanding of the culture and language of
persons who are Deaf. The department strives to
provide an environment where students become fully
prepared to work as interpreters and support providers
for members of this unique population.
