"Learning to interpret can be a great challenge!"

Julie Razuri, a native to San Antonio, received an associate's degree in Interpreter Training from San Antonio College and a Liberal Arts degree from Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State University), San Marcos, Texas. She has done a variety of educational, religious, medical and other community interpreting in San Antonio and other south Texas cities. Currently, she is an instructor for San Antonio College, Department of American Sign Language and Interpreter Training. Julie is certified Texas Level III and a recognized trilingual interpreter in the community.

She is a past memeber of the Texas Hispanic Trilingual Taskforce and the Participatory Action and Review Group for development of the Texas Trilingual Certification Test. Julie's work help establish the Department of American Sign Language and Interpreter Training Enhanced Trilingual Cerificate Program. The program's dream became a reality in August 2007 with the first Trilingual I class. She was also invited and taught at the first of its kind Texas Trilingual week-long training sponsored by the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services. She aslo works as a Trilingual Video Interpreter for Sorenson Communication .
