| Ray is a native San Antonion who graduated from George W. Brackenridge H.S.
He studied music in high school and played the saxophone in the marching, concert, and dance bands. He began to study piano at the age of 9 and continued this field of study through high school and beyond. Today Ray enjoys playing for his own enjoyment and teaching others to play.
He moved to New Orleans, LA in 1973 and earned his diploma in Data Systems Technology and Processing from Cameron College. He began working in the recruitment dept. for Jones, Walker, et al, one of the largest law firms in the mid-South, after graduation from Cameron. While in New Orleans, he also studied Business Management at Delgado Community College, in conjunction with Advertising Art, Drawing and Painting, at the New Orleans Art Institute.
Ray returned to San Antonio, TX in 1991 and has worked as a secretary in several San Antonio College areas to include the Counseling Center, Women¹s Center, Project SPURSSS, Nursing, Business Administration, and Business Depts. He considers working in the American Sign Language/Interpreter Training Dept. a new challenge and has begun to learn the new language and culture that has been introduced to him. Ray considers this ³new adventure² a welcome and promising opportunity..
