The Department of American Sign Language offers most courses through Continuing Education as well as for college credit. Enrolling in the Continuing Education side of the college allows the student to take the class of his choice without having to submit transcripts from previously attended institutions, sit for the Accuplacer, etc. All Continuing Education courses are taught as combo classes, meaning that Continuing Education students will have the same instructor, room, course requirements (attendance, class participation, testing, etc) as those students taking the course for college credit.
Continuing Education courses as well as courses taught for college credit may be used to satisfy interpreter certification maintenance requirements.
