Deaf & Hard of Hearing Mission Statement


The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services program / at San Antonio College is devoted to delivering quality, comprehensive services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. The college provides for and supports the educational and lifelong learning needs of a multicultural community and is committed to excellence in helping students reach their full potential. The Deaf and Hard of Hearing student, faculty, interpreters, and counselor work together as an educational team for the purpose of creating a successful learning environment. Each member of the team has a vital and specific role. In order to create an equitable learning experience, all team members must actively fulfill their respective roles.
