TUTORING
The Resource Lab offers tutoring for deaf and hearing students.
"Tutor Request Forms" are available for students wanting to
schedule a specific time; but walk-ins are always welcome.

VIDEOTAPE
At San Antonio College we are fortunate to have an extensive videotape library as well as many of the current publications in the fields of Interpreting and Deafness. In order for students to improve both their receptive and expressive sign skills, lab work is incorporated into many of the American Sign Language and Interpreting classes. For this reason the number of contact hours per week exceeds the number of credit hours in many of the classes. The additional lab hours help ensure that students have sufficient opportunities to work individually, with another student, or in small groups in order to further develop their skills and knowledge. The Sign Language Resource Center welcomes Community Interpreters as well as members of the Deaf Community.

Signing-In
Students upon entering the Lab, log on to the computer with their
Social Security number. Lab hours are an active requirement when
taking Sign Language classes, conducive to the learning process.
