Memberships and Meetings

Meetings

The Connection Club generally meets once per month in the Nail Technical Center (room reservations vary each month). We are currently surveying members for the most convenient time to meet so that the majority of students will have an opportunity to attend. Information will be posted on the Connection Club bulletin board, emailed via Yahoo Groups, and/or the calendar page of this website.

Get Involved!

Our goal is to provide events for the purpose of connecting the hearing students with the Deaf Community. As a Connection Club Member , your involvement with the Connection Club exposes you to the language and culture of American Sign Language and will greater enhance your knowledge and language skills. Members will benefit by meeting Deaf Leaders and role models in San Antonio and around Texas.  Members also receive discounts on merchandise and events along with the opportunity to support the San Antonio College Interpreter Training Program. Meeting attendance and involvement in various activities are not required but encouraged for personal growth.

All events and elections are decided by the majority vote by attending members.
