Brief Bio:
After obtaining his Bachelor's in Accounting from St. Mary's University, Professor Martinez served as an officer in the Army Artillery for two years. One of those years was spent in Vietnam directing artillery fire on enemy positions. He worked for Ford Motor in General Ledger Accounting and Cost Analysis Accounting. Upon returning to San Antonio, he was employed with Thiokol of Texas as Cost Accounting Manager. He acquired an MBA in finance from St. Mary's University and achieved CPA status. Subsequent employment was with the Alamo Community College District as District Controller, Director of Finance and currently, Associate Professor in the Business Department of San Antonio College.
