MRKG2349 The electronic classroom serving this course resides in a World Wide Web site that is accessible anywhere a student can enter the web. This class will be using these WebCT tools: To get into the class, a student must follow the instructions below. It opens the gate to the course files which reside on WebCT. Accessing The Electronic Classroom In WebCT This section outlines how to get into the electronic classroom. If you have trouble with this or anything on the web, make at least three attempts, then try again later.
These steps should take you to the front page of the WebCT classroom. If something does not work, try troubleshooting with the information below. Once in, go to the area needed to do the work assigned.

The problem can have several sources. 1. Be sure to access the correct page. It is available as listed above, and also by going to www.accd.edu, and clicking on the Internet Courses link and those that follow. 2. The student may have the caps lock key on or be typing in capital and lowercase letters. WebCT is case sensitive and the user name and ids have been set up in only lowercase. When the prompts for the user name and password come up, type them in lower case as directed in #s 5 and 6 above: user name - bi020378 password - 1068 3. If a student has changed the PIN (password) via Telephone/Web registration, that could be the problem. The mainframe does not automatically share this information with the WebCT computer, so WebCT is still using the old password. Anyone who has forgotten the PIN, may call Support Central at 220-1616. 4. If a student has changed or is using a last name different from the one by which the SAC mainframe lists him or her, that could be the problem. The mainframe does not automatically share this information with the WebCT computer, so WebCT is still using the first two letters of the old name as part of the user id. For example, people with hyphenated names such as Billings-Garza, often will pronounce and use both or only the last one, Garza. WebCT, however, goes for Billings in the example in number two above. The first two initials of the last name it recognizes are not ga, but rather, bi. As long as the student types ga020378, s/he will not get in. The computer recognizes only bi020378.
