Need a bachelor's degree? If you are seeking to become a teacher and do not have a bachelor's degree, San Antonio College can help you create your tomorrow. Academic courses lead towards an Associates in Arts in Teaching (AAT) Degree. The AAT Degree Program targets individuals who have a desire to enter the field of education as a teacher, teacher's aide, school administrator, counselor, or some aspect of child/adolescent development. Students will initiate coursework leading to an AAT Degree. Students will be advised to continue their Baccalaureate of Arts Degree in Education at a four-year degree granting institution. This degree is fully transferable to all Texas public universities which offer applicable Baccalaureate Degrees leading to initial teacher certification. For additional information contact:
