Focus: The quality teaching of Science and Mathematics topics to prepare students to achieve success in the 21 st century. Date: Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm For the sixth year in a row, the science and mathematics curriculum supervisors and college faculty members of the non-profit San Antonio Science and Mathematics Education Association are proud to offer an outstanding one-day professional development conference for the teaching of PK - 12 science and mathematics. "San Antonio Science and Mathematics Saturday, " an annual conference open to teachers and curriculum leaders across Texas, includes many hands-on sessions by local, regional, and state teaching and curriculum experts. This professional development conference provides teachers with sound, practical techniques designed to engage young learners in the principles and applications of science and mathematics. The conference includes a vendor's exhibit and catered lunch for all attendees. Participants can earn up to 6 CEU credits. This is also an opportunity to share with your fellow educators what you are doing to make authentic learning a reality. If you are interested in presenting please submit your presentation proposal.
