Substitute Teacher Training
This 16-clock hour course is presented through an engaging variety of instructional methods such as lecture/discussion media and small group exercises. This course provides training on the role of a substitute teacher, classroom management and behavior, effective teaching techniques, knowing students and meeting their needs. Participants will also become knowledgeable in legal educational issues, classroom resources, age-appropriate activities and promoting a safe learning environment.
