classes and programs offered by the Center for Professional
Development are approved by the Texas Higher Education
Coordinating Board, and accredited through the Southern
Association of Colleges and Schools.
San
Antonio College awards certification for the Corporate
Trainer program, Human Resource Generalist program, and
the Leadership &and Management Certificate. Certification
for PHR/SPHR programs is awarded by the Society for Human
Resource Management (SHRM). The American Payroll Association
awards certification for our Payroll Professional classes.
All
classes offered by the Center for Professional Development
are approved by the US Air Force for tuition assistance.
Training
& Development related the 37th Training Wing Faculty
Development Flight, Lackland AFB, recognizes classes for
credit toward the award of the Air Education and Training
Command Master Technical Training Instructor certification.
The
Human Resource Generalist certificate program is approved
by the Veteran’s Administration for tuition payment,
and approved by the Human Resource Certification Institute
(HRCI) for PHR/SPHR re-certification credit.
