Certification,
whether in Human Resource Management, Training & Development,
Payroll, Leadership & Management, or Purchasing, sets
you apart from those who are not certified. Certification
becomes a public recognition of professional achievement
– both within or outside of your profession. For
many, certification becomes a personal professional goal
– a way to test knowledge and measure it against
one’s peers. Others see certification as an aid
to career advancement. Which need does your quest for
certification fulfill?
Certification
also helps fledgling professionals establish themselves
– witness the flurry of IT “certification”
within the past five years. Certification defines what
an individual needs to know in order to be an acknowledged
“expert” in their field.
