Elementary 3rd - 5th

Through hands-on and minds-on investigations students will apply the scientific method in many exciting ways. Problem solving activities will challenge both sides of the brain. Major disciplines of science will be investigated such as biological kingdoms, space challenges, and the principles of density and buoyancy.

Middle School 6th - 8th

This course is designed to help students prepare to successfully pass the Science 6-8 TEKS testing. Instructional content covers domains that are divided into sets of competencies. A sampling of possible competency topics: the nature of science scientific inquiry; how science impacts daily life; laws of motion; gravitational and electromagnetic forces; applications of electricity and magnetism; thermodynamics; quantum physics; and energy transformations.
