About ISA
The International Students Association was formed to serve the specific needs of international students at San Antonio College, as well as to partake in activities to increase international and cultural awareness at SAC and in the community. Our mission is to represent international students and to enhance interaction between international students and American students.
Being an organization of foreign students ourselves, we understand most problems and difficulties that one may face here in the United States. Whether one is fluent in English or came to SAC to improve his or her language skills, one may still encounter some challenges adjusting to an American lifestyle.
We organize activities designed to encourage communication and further understanding between various national and cultural groups at SAC. These activities and events range from student conferences, forums, seminars, workshops, expositions, fundraisers, excursions, and retreats.
The ISA is the official representative of the international student community atSan Antonio College.
