Application Process


Students using DVA educational benefits must see a staff member in the Office of Veterans' Affairs in order to be certified for the Department of Veterans Affairs benefits. The following must be done:

  1. Consult the personnel in the Office of Veterans' Affairs.
  2. Establish a VA folder with all the documentation required.
    • Initial DVA application or a request for transfer form.
    • All transcript(s) of prior credits.
    • Test scores (if applicable).
    • Dependent(s) documentation is required.
    • Complete a VA.. 2-ply form.
    • Sign a statement of responsibilities.
  3. See a counselor/department chairperson to get course approval.
  4. Report any changes of enrollment each semester.
  5. Maintain a 2.0 grade-point average (GPA).
