"Questions for Second Reading" for either readings (found behind each essay).  Choose one question and then post your answer to the class email.

Length:150 words. Please use this week’s reading in SFH (specifically p. 231) to help you construct your paragraph.  Bold/Capitalize both topic sentence and internal transitions.

Scott Foresman Handbook (SFH):  Review "How Do You Construct A Thesis" (pp. 30-35) & Ch. 16 “How Do You Manage Opening and Closing Paragraphs” (pp.246-250).

Publish your introductory paragraph underlining your thesis. Evaluate it using the SFH Checklist 3.1 found on pp. 31.  Also identify the type of opening you are using from models found in SFH, pp. 246-250).
