What is an
"eZine"?
Assignment: Resource Page
To write an eZine of your own over
a subject on which your group determines. Each eZine needs to have a theme or
subject, and each member of the group will write a 500-800 word
"piece" to go in the eZine.

Subject: You have a great freedom in what subject
you will write on, but I want you to write an "expository" essay of
writing (i.e. not a work of fiction or poetry). I still will want you to focus
on a single "point" and develop that point. Also, please choose
non-obscene subjects... You will select
a subject to write upon that fits within the general subject, theme, or
attitude that your group has selected.
Sources and Links: You will need to research your subject and
each individual piece will need to include citations from at least THREE
sources and have at least FOUR links. You will need to use MLA Documentation
Style.
Essay Format and Length: The eZine essay will first be turned in as
an MSWord Document. It will need to be
at least 500 words and contain the required sources and links (see above) and
graphics. It will need to include MLA
Documentation Style and include a Works Cited page.
eZine Format and Requirements: After you complete the ezine essay, you
will then work on revising this essay and publishing it in a web format. It needs to be saved as an HTML document
using MSWord2000 and formatted with graphics (at least two per 500 words) and
links to add interest and depth. Each eZine will need to have a
"homepage" or contents page, and then links off to the individual
pieces. You will also be required to have a group Works Cited page which all of
you link back to.
