Decision 2008 AT SAC:
Turning in Your Video Analysis Papers
Activity #1: Copy Editing (20-25
min.)
Print a copy of your draft and exchange your essay with a peer. Go
over your peer’s paper with a fine-toothed comb looking for any grammatical
problems, chances to edit sentences for clarity and fluidity, and corrections
you might offer in the use and documentation of quotations. When you are done, pass the paper back to the
author.
Activity #2: Self-Editing, Final Changes (20-25
min.)
Make final changes to your essay based on the copyediting done by
your peer and anything else you believe needed to be changed. Finish this copy
as a PRINT copy (in MLA Format). Print this final draft and turn it in.

Activity #4: Responding to Essays
Write a 150-200 word response to THREE forum posts of your peers. Watch the video. This is a rather open response, but I would like you to do two things:
1) Note the insights your find interesting in their paper
2) Engage in dialogue with them about their ideas and insights (most particular, perhaps, to issues raised in the uses and limits section.
3) Reply to responses you have received. Reply to replies of your posts. Dialogue. These replies can be shorter—25-75 words.
In all, I will look for you to do SIX posts (three responses, three replies). Up to SIX others can count as extra-credit.
Completing this response will be part of the homework before next class.
