Welcome to AlaMOO! If you a here reading this page, I can assume that you are a first-time user of AlaMOO and perhaps MOOs in general. Well, don't despair--you're in the right place. MOOs can seem foreign and a bit overwhelming, but I think you will find them to be fun, exciting, and not really that hard to get around in. These pages will help guide you as you get acquainted with MOOing.

How to Log in as a Guest:

1. From the Login webpage (http://ranger.accd.edu:7000), simply click the LOG IN button on the left
2. Keep GUEST as the USERNAME and use NO PASSWORD.
3. The MOO will prompt you to identify yourself.

Beginner's Help Using AlaMOO

Access the Beginner's Guide for general information about using a MOO for the first time. Open and print the QuickStart cheat sheet for a list frequently used commands for communicating, navigating, and interacting with objects. (See links to the left.)

Mind your manners, please:
Please be considerate of others while you are in the MOO. A good basic guide is that anything inappropriate or rude in face-to-face interactions is just as inappropriate here in the MOO. Please look at the POLICIES for more information.

Become a Member:
Because we know you will love MOOing so much, we hope you will become a regular in AlaMOO by requesting a CHARACTER--then you won't have to keep logging in as a guest, and you will have the ability to build spaces in the MOO yourself. Click the GET CHARACTER link to the left for more information.
