San Antonio College Chapter
History
MAES is a national professional non-profit organization that was founded in 1974 for advancing Mexican American in engineering and science. MAES was formed in response to a severe under-representation of Mexican Americans in the engineering fields in the U.S., which is still a reality today. San Antonio College has had a student organization of MAES for over 20 years to carry out the MAES goals at the local level.
Who Can Join?
MAES is open to any student, Latino or otherwise, that is interested in helping to get more Latinos involved in the fields of engineering and science. You must have a technical and scientific discipline.
