Assistant Professor Dale T. Mooso has worked at San Antonio College since August of 1992, when he started teaching Criminal Justice courses as an Adjunct Instructor upon leaving the United States Air Force. In 1993, he was awarded a Minority in Teaching Fellowship from the Alamo Community College District and finished a Master in Public Administration Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in August of 1994, when he became a Tenure Track Instructor and the Program Coordinator of Criminal Justice at San Antonio College. In August of 1996, he became the first Chair of the newly formed Department of Protective Services, and became part of the Internet development effort at San Antonio College. By 2000, the entire AAS degree plan for both Law Enforcement and Corrections were available via the Internet. In 2001, he moved to Public Administration to continue developing Internet opportunities. In 2005, he moved to his current position as Program Coordinator of Occupational Safety & Health Technology. Besides his degree emphasis in management, he has extensive military experience in contigency planning and operations, as well as in various aspects of workplace safety. Currently, he is the only fulltime employee in this program.
