ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
SURVEYING SPECIALTY

The Surveying Engineering Technology graduate is prepared to work as a technician for a professional surveyor or for a construction company. The surveyor’s education includes exposure to all the traditional procedures of surveying plus newer procedures using total stations, computer drawing and global positioning system equipment. This degree transfers in part to a four-year surveying degree at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi.

(3) Mathematical Skill Competency: Passage of TECM 1341 and TECM 1317 with a grade of "C" or better

(4) Computer Competency: Passage of CETT 1333  with a grade of "C" or better
