Five Reasons to Choose the ESOL Program at San Antonio College

1. Highly qualified faculty

All faculty have Masters and/or Ph.D. degrees from prestigious universities.
Faculty average twenty years of teaching experience at the college or university level.

2. Lower cost of obtaining a U.S. college degree :

Community college tuitions, like SAC's, are lower than university tuitions, and tuitions in Texas are lower than tuitions in most other states.
If you take your first two years of college classes at SAC, you can transfer to universities without taking any more admissions or placement tests, including the TOEFL. (see transfer plan)
SAC does not require TOEFL test scores for entrance into college classes.

3. College preparation:

Classes focus on the academic listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar skills necessary for you to pass entrance and placement tests and to be successful in your college classes.
Classes are rigorous and intensive.
Completion of the ESL program guarantees you entry into college classes at SAC and in many cases, subsequent automatic transfer to many four-year universities.

4. Flexible scheduling

Flex semesters allow you to finish the ESOL program in half the time.
For less intensive study, you can attend classes only two or three days a week
Evening classes allow you to complete the ESOL program at night
