ResourcesWith the advent of the Internet, a plethora of Chinese language resources are available with a few keystrokes. Start with: http://www.tussah.com/lara/chinese.htm and this will lead to many others. A very useful sight for learning to write Chinese characters is: http://www.usc.edu/dept/ealc/chinese/character/ The SAC library also has a very good collection of books on China. For history, look under DS700. For literature, look under PL1000. Then browse the shelves. You may find some unexpected treasures.
