Welcome!

I am Dr. Paul W. Wilson, Instructor of Political Science. The courses I teach include: Government 2301, American Government: National, State and Local; and Government 2302, American Government: Problems and Policy.

I have been teaching Political Science, Government, and Organizational Leadership since I was 22 years old (I believe that was during the Cleveland Administration). During that time I have taught at the high school, undergraduate and graduate levels and have found the classroom experience to be rewarding in every context.

When Benjamin Franklin left Independence Hall after signing the Constitution a woman asked him, “What kind of government have you given us, Dr. Franklin?” His reply was, “A republic, madam. If you can keep it.” My professional mission is to educate my students so they can play their role in meeting Dr. Franklin’s challenge.
