American Minorities:  Political Culture in A Global Environment

Greetings!

Thank you for your interest.    Classes begin August 24th for Fall 2009 semester

This is the newest course offering within the Political Science Department!

This course is a study of the common and distinctive elements of American political culture with an emphasis on race, ethnicity and gender. It will examine the role of minority cultures in American society from an historical, literary, sociological, geographical and political perspective and therefore represents an interdisciplinary inquiry.

Please note at the top of this page, you will find links that take you to other pages in the course.  Make sure you view the Calendar as it contains important information on college and class dates for exams and activities.  The Syllabus contains the generic syllabus for HUMA 2319, but all the course-specific pertinent information on how to complete the course and the expectations I have for your performance is located at the Course Requirements page.
