Welcome!

The purpose of this course is to build upon the foundation acquired in the first course, Government 2301, or to familiarize yourself with the formulation and implementation of public policy by the three major branches of American Government as well as the Bureaucracy.

If you have registered for this course, be advised: the work is on done on a schedule with very little exception.   There will be hyperlinks (bold underlined text) included in the lectures and there will be activity links posted on the Course Bulletin Board that you must complete and email to me.  The interaction you will have with the instructor will be through email, or through Yahoo! instant messenger, therefore it is important that you set up your Yahoo! account as quickly as possible.

This course is NOT like a lecture course insofar as formal meetings go.  You must be a disciplined student, capable of creating and maintaining a set schedule that will allow you to complete the readings and the activities on a schedule. This course is NOT like other courses, each instructor chooses the platform and designs their own respective courses, so comparing one to another is often comparing apples to oranges.

You will need to read the course requirements as this will list for you, all administrative aspects of this course, including testing procedures and location, as well as the policies of this course.
