  • To Learn How Course Works: There is no formal orientation for the course. To find out how the course works, peruse the syllabus and schedule pages.  Once you have checked these pages out - the course format should be self-explanatory.   • Limited, Optional Use of WEBCT/PALS: You do not have to access this course through WEBCT or PALS - you can reach it directly at this site.  We will use WEBCT only to post grades and for an OPTIONAL, extra credit discussion.

  • Flexible Textbook Policy: You are required to read two textbooks - a college level American Government textbook and a college level Texas Government textbooks.  They can not be older than 2004.  However, which American and Texas government textbooks you use is totally up to you may use any college level American and Texas government textbooks you use is up to you.
