General Course Information

Required Online Orientation ~ (NO on-campus orientation)

Internet courses are an alternate way for a student (such as a working professional or a self-directed person) to earn college credit online. This section of History 1302 is conducted entirely online using BlackBoard Vista tools, an electronic Learning Management System (LMS) serving this course which resides on a World Wide Web site:
  • the site is accessible (with a user ID and password) anywhere a student can enter the web.
  • Using BB Vista will help you access course information, communicate with the instructor and other students,
  • follow the course calendar,
  • submit assignments,
  • take quizzes and exams online, (grade released when submitted),
  • and view your grade record to check your progress.

Last update November 2009

The website contents of the Department of History at San Antonio College are reviewed regularly for accuracy and timeliness. Efforts are made to update material as the need arises in order to make this information accessible through the internet. However, nothing within these pages is intended to supersede policy or official publications of SAC, or the Alamo Community College District. As with many Web Pages, these pages are often "under construction" to reflect the continuous changes in the web and in current information. Therefore, these pages may be incomplete or have missing links. Your patience is appreciated. The department's web sites include links to sites outside the control of the department, SAC, and ACCD. The department or district is not responsible for information on these or other such linked sites.

The Alamo Community College District, including its affiliated colleges, does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability with respect to access, employment programs, or services. Inquiries or complaints concerning these matters should be brought to the attention of: Director of Human Resources, Title IX Coordinator, 210/208-8051. Address: Human Resources Department, 201 W.
