SAC / LRC

The San Antonio College Learning Resources Center is the best place to begin a New Media Resource tour.

  • The LRC has a first rate Links page with databases and indexes as well as resources compiled for specific academic subjects using only rated sites.
  • The LRC offers instruction to help students become familiar with using the Library and Internet for research.
  • New Media resources are especially important for Distance Learners and students taking San Antonio College courses on the Internet.
  • The SAC Learning Resources Center has a responsibility to provide library services to its distance learners.
  • It is the Library's mission to provide access to as many resources as possible to support curriculum-related teaching, research, and scholarly communication to its off-campus students.

I hope that we will allow this global conversation to remind us that collaboration with our colleagues is an important and invigorating part of teaching. . .In short, let’s be inspired not merely by the technology of the Internet, but by its humanity.
