Textbook Online Information & Support

In a highly competitive industry the ability to obtain access to quality online ancilliary materials is an important part of the textbook selection process. The Internet has revolutonized textboook publication. Companion websites for textbooks contain a variety of resources for instructors and students. For students these include online study guides featuring chapter overviews, learning objectives, interactive maps, self-tests, web resources, and other useful study aids. For instructors there are instructor manuals, presentation managers, and sometimes discussion bulletin boards where information may be exchanged with other colleagues using the same text.

Textbooks for history courses at SAC are normally adopted on a three to four year cycle for the life of the edition.
