Textbook Online Information & Support
In a highly competitive
industry the ability to obtain access to quality online ancilliary materials
is an important part of the textbook selection process. The Internet has
revolutonized textboook publication. Companion websites for textbooks
contain a variety of resources for instructors and students. For students
these include online study guides featuring chapter overviews, learning
objectives, interactive maps, self-tests, web resources, and other useful
study aids. For instructors there are instructor manuals, presentation
managers, and sometimes discussion bulletin boards where information may
be exchanged with other colleagues using the same text.
