LCDC Test Prep Courses: Courses will address the LCDC written and/or oral exams to assist attendees in their preparation to complete them. The oral exam prep will familiarize attendees with the format of the exam. The written exam prep includes study strategies, and discussion of the content areas on the exam. Practice questions are part of the presentation. However, the workshop is not intended to replace the use of commercially available test preparation products (e.g., test item banks/flashcards). For many candidates, ideal preparation for the LCDC written exam will include the use of commercially available test preparation products along with a test prep workshop.
All courses are held at San Antonio College. Pre-registration is encouraged, as a maximum of 20 individuals will be enrolled in each session. Call (210) 733-2605 for registration information. Payment is taken at the door. No refunds for partial attendance of any session(s) will be given. Test prep sessions may not be audio recorded.
Continuing Education
All DAAC and PSYT Courses can be taken trhough continuing education and can be used toward LCDC and LPC licensure renewal. (Check with the Human Services Program Coordinator for the acceptance of these continuing education courses by other licensing boards.)
