         Web Developer Level I Review Criteria

The following requirements must be met to complete the
Web Developer Level I certificate:

1. Attend and participate in all Web Developer Level I Training Classes

2. Individual must also demonstrate ability to use Web Development skills by creating a new     and original website which meets the requirements listed below.

Website Requirements:

  1. Website is newly created for the purpose of this review?   [ yes ]    [ no ]
  2. Website has a homepage and at least 4 additional pages? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  3. Each webpage has distinct, working navigation? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  4. Does each page have a link to the SAC homepage? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  5. Does each graphic have an ALT tag for ADA compliance? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  6. Do long, scrolling webpages have links to "return to top of page" at convenient intervals? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  7. Are the file names less than 12 letters/numbers and are they void of special characters? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  8. Is there a working link to the Web Developer's email address on each page? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  9. Is a "Date Last Updated" statement posted on each page? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  10. Is the ACCD Accessibility statement posted on the homepage of the site? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  11. Do the colors and textures of the site contrast sufficiently for readability purposes? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  12. Does each webpage have a logical title for bookmarking? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  13. Do multimedia components such as: sound, video, Flash animation, etc. have a text equivalent to
       ensure ADA compliance? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  14. Does the site load in a timely manner (8 seconds or less)? [ yes ]    [ no ]
  15. Are the graphics, colors, fonts, etc, attractive and suitable to the purpose of the site? [ yes ]    [ no ]
