How to join The List From The Email Address At Which You Want To Receive Listserv Postings

1. Open the program you usually use for the address you prefer. From that address, compose a new message to

Listserv@Accd.Edu

2. Put nothing at all in the Subject line. Leave it blank.

3. In the message box, write the words

Subscribe SacInet Your Name

(Substitute your first and last name for Your Name. It is not case sensitive.)

4. Send the message.

5. You should receive very fast confirmation that your name has been added. In addition, the message will include information about leaving and searching the Listserv.

Don't become impatient if it takes a few seconds to receive confirmation. The turn-around time may be several minutes, but immediate response is more nearly typical.

2. At the prompt, type the word

3. At the next prompt, type the two words in

Your Name (substitute your first and last name for Your Name)

4. You should receive very fast confirmation that your name has been added.
